The weekend is over and it's Monday...woo hoo...I wish there was a way to express my sarcasm in that, because I really don't care for Monday's :-( Oh well.
It's another day at the job and it's slow, which sucks! I wish it were busy busy busy because the day just seems to fly by when it is. Plus I think there would be less pressure/stress around here if it were and the pressure/stress isn't a fun feeling!
So as for the weekend that just passed...it was pretty good for the most part. Lunch was WONDERFUL and we had a great time! Moonshine was just as deeeelicious as I knew it would be and everyone else loved it just as much as I did. Valentines Day was great for Avery as well. She enjoyed her day with the family and then that evening, I let her little boyfriend Gustavo come over and take her to the movies. I hate that she has a boyfriend, but oh well, atleast he's a decent kid. I would much rather her NOT have a boyfriend and just have friends and enjoy her childhood to the fullest without any restraints, but what can you tell a teenager that thinks they know everything? Geez! Saturday evening was a little stressful and worrisome....Roger woke me up from a little cat nap on the couch, to tell me his heart was racing...which he's been having problems with it lately and has been to the Dr. to try to find out what was going on, but he literally felt like he was having a heart attack, so I rushed him to the hospital only for it to stop the second we walked in. I will say though that it was the quickest in and out trip to the ER!! We were in and out within one hour!!! That included paperwork when we got there, a quick conversation with the nurse, an even quicker conversation with the Dr. and then we were done. They said the EKG was great and showing no problems and that since his heart rate was back to normal they couldn't do anything, so they just suggested that he follow up with the cardiologist that he's been seeing on Monday. Ok, whatever! So we go home and his chest was a little sore the rest of the weekend, but no more rapid heart rate. It was freeeekin' scary! I swear his heart felt like it was going a million miles an hour and about to pop out of his chest!! My poor baby!
So after all of that...on Sunday morning, I'm the one who wakes up to breakfast in bed!!! What a treat it was. Roger and Avery were supposed to make me a surprise Valentine's Day breakfast but Avery thought Roger was going to wake her up and Roger thought Avery was going to wake him up, so guess what, no Valentine's breakfast because neither one was awake :-) They sure did make up for it on Sunday however because I had the best Cinnamon Pancakes EVER!!! They hit the spot! Who would have ever thought to add a little cinnamon to the batter? Try it, it's yummy!!

I guess it's about that time....
Well, I've been saying I would do this and never have, so I guess it's about that time that I got this blog going. I always have so much on my mind, some of which I'm sure should stay up there and be left unsaid :-), but some that I'll let out!
As for today, I wish I was at home, with Avery and Roger. It's so beautiful outside and I'm stuck here behind my desk, selling plants! Oh well, I guess I shouldn't complain about working when there are sooo many people out there without jobs...to all whom my heart goes out to!
So tomorrow is Valentine's day. It so happens to be one of my favorite holidays...right there up with Thanksgiving and St. Patty's Day. To me Valetine's isn't just about love in a relationship, but love all the way around. I love to give extra love to Avery and my Mom on this day. It's just an extra day to be extra sweet!! Roger and I will be taking my Mom and Avery out for lunch at Moonshine. I'm the only one out of us that's been there, so I'm really excited to go because I know they'll love it! That's all that we have planned for the weekend, well so far. Roger and I aren't really celebrating Vday because we're going to make it into a family holiday since our anniversary is a little over a week away.
I'm really excited about that too....the whole anniversary thing. We've almost made it a whole year. He's the best boyfriend I've ever had! I'm not even kidding :-) Almost 32 and I finally got one!! hee hee!!
So until the next time...I hope anyone who reads this has a wonderful weekend, fabulous Valentine's Day, and will maybe come back to read more one day!
